10 superfoods top the list of the best healthy foods to eat every day.

Some healthy snacks are rare and expensive to get into our daily diet (ahem, goji berry) or something like, say, sardines. We all try new and different foods that are important for a healthy diet but we wanted to find the healthiest foods that are easy to include in your diet. However, it does not matter how healthy the food is if you don't eat it.

A very healthy diet and a focused diet of whole foods. Lots of vegetables and fruits, whole grains, healthy proteins and fat. Additional sugar and sodium are limited. There are some foods that are well-suited for this list such as lentil, bananas and beets - but this list is a great place to start incorporating more healthy foods into your diet.

So, here is a list of 10 easy-to-eat, easy-to-find, daily superfoods to keep your food healthy and delicious.

1. Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes are highly blessed with orange because of their alpha and beta carotene. These phytochemicals also act as antioxidants, flooding disease-promoting tissues free of charge. One sweet potato — or about a 1/2 cup — provides approximately twice the daily recommended amount of Vitamin A, as well as vitamins C and B6, potassium, manganese and lutein and zeaxanthin.

2. Eggs

A source of high-quality vegetable protein, eggs can also give your diet plenty of staying power.  Also, egg yolks containing lutein and two zeaxanthin-antioxidants help keep the eyes healthy. In fact, increasing research links lutein and zeaxanthin with reduced risk of age-related deterioration, which is a leading cause of blindness in people over 50. And lutein can also help protect your skin from UV damage. Who knew that a humble egg is so healthy?

3. Yogurt

The yogurt contains probiotic or "good bacteria" that helps keep our guts healthy. It is also rich in calcium. Just 1 cup of yogurt provides about half the recommended daily calcium intake and delivers phosphorus, potassium, zinc, riboflavin, Vitamin B12 and protein. Choose Greek yogurt to raise the greatest protein and whenever possible.

4. Broccoli

This strong greenhouse packs vitamins A, C and K (aiding skeletal health), as well as folate. There is another reason broccoli always earns the top spot in the "superfoods" list: it provides a healthy dose of sulforaphane, a type of isothiocyanate thought to suppress cancer by helping to stimulate the body's immune system.

5. Nuts

What can make nuts? They are packed with healthy fats and polyunsaturated fats and magnesium, two important nutrients for heart health. These nutrients can also provide protection against insulin resistance, which can lead to diabetes. The antioxidant elements found in nuts, including ellagic acid and resveratrol, can reduce the inflammation and scarring in your body from free radicals. Also, this reduces inflammation, which can reduce the risk of cancer. Also, nuts provide insoluble fiber, which studies suggest can help you stay healthy by giving you beneficial gut bacteria.

6. Oats

Oats are breakfast and they are a big deal. Eating lots of oats is an easy way to increase your fiber intake, which many of our nutrients do not get enough of. Fiber is good for our guts and our list of ingredients and to keep us full - (all of the most important qualities for breakfast). Also, oats are whole grains and plain oats have no added sugar. For a superfood meal or snack start with plain oats and convert them to healthy foods and snacks

7. Oranges

Oranges are a fruit under the breeze. But modest orange is an excellent source of Vitamin C, just one large orange (or cup of OJ) contains a daily dose. Vitamin C is essential to produce white blood cells and antibodies that fight disease; it is also a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from free radicals and plays a major role in producing collagen elasticity of skin. Oranges are also high in fiber and folate.
